Curacao: Mega Pier

The latest addition to the Port of Willemstad is the Mega (cruise) terminal, located at the Otrobanda seaside, West of the St. Anna Bay harbour entrance. This dedicated facility consists of a T-shaped jetty that accommodates large (cruise) vessels over 70,000 gt. The terminal can handle one ship at a time and overcomes the existing limitations of the St. Anna Bay for large cruise vessels. The terminal offers world-class bunkering facilities and plenty of terminal space, including a covered reception area, bus and taxi terminals. The excellent bunkering facilities also make this pier attractive for all other vessel types. The terminal is also used for temporary repairs, underwater surveys & cleaning, change of ownership, etc.
